Research Abstract |
The subcutaneous injection of anti-MGL2 monoclonal antibodies successfully targeted antigens to the cells expressing MGL2 in mice. The antigens taken up through MGL2 were presented to antigen-specific CD4^+ T cells and led to an efficient antibody response. Since mouse MGL2 is thought to be a human MGL ortholog, these results are suggested to be able to apply to the development of novel vaccine.
