Research Abstract |
Remodeling and/or synapse plasticity is increased at 1^<st> week after stroke in intact hemisphere. In contrast, recovery of general behavior is delay compared with those in simple somatosensory function. During the remodeling, glutamine, glysine and dopamine seems to be play an important role. Application of haloperidol at 2-4 days after stroke prolongs the recovery.
