Research Abstract |
We raised the possibility of the existence of cancer stem cells in bone-metastatic prostate cancer cells. We also showed that prostate cancer cell proliferation was decreased by TGF beta1 receptor inhibitors in vivo and in vitro, and clarified the significance of TGF beta signaling regulation as a new prostate cancer therapy.
