Research Abstract |
We demonstrated that autophagy is involved in the suppression of cigarette smoke extract(CSE)-induced cellular senescence in human bronchial epithelial cells. Furthermore, p62-mediated selective autophagic degradation of ubiquitinated proteins is implicated in the regulation of cellular senescence in association with COPD pathogenesis.
