| Research Abstract |
When OCT is used in diagnoses for occlusal surface caries, it receives signals from caries with light reflection and light scattering caused by crystal structure changes in caries affected area. However, at this stage, OCT image diagnosis requires experiences and understanding of image characteristics. Further examinations and improvements will make OCT be a diagnostic device in clinical dentistry.
