Outline of Annual Research Achievements

アークワイヤ積層によるチタンとアルミの流動および混合現象を、熱流体マルチフィジカル解析モデルで数値シミュレーションし、その成果を国際ジャーナルInternational Journal of Thermal Scienceに投稿した。
A multi-physical numerical model considering the dissimilar wire feeding and melting, and element mixing is developed, and a high-speed video camera is adopted to investigate the wire transfer behaviors in WAAM of a γ-TiAl alloy.The Ti and Al elements can be transferred to the molten pool through a liquid TiAl bridge. The wetting angle of the liquid TiAl metal on the Ti wire surface can be used to predict the possibility of the liquid TiAl bridge breakup.The surface tension causes backward flow and growth of a liquid TiAl droplet,and thus suppresses the droplet transfer.

数値解析による研究は、コロナ伝染の影響を殆ど受けずに進めました結果、おおむね順調に進展した結果に繋がった。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

今年度で、数値解析を重点に置きながら、現象観察および性能評価について実験検証を行う予定です。
