卓越したプラズマ可視化技術に基づく放電活性種の生成機構解明

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

直径が100mmにもなる球雷放電の活性種密度が測定できるセンサを開発した。具体的には、球雷放電によって生成される活性種の中で最も酸化力が強いため環境・エネルギー・医療・農業への適用が期待されているOHラジカルに着目し、これの3次元ダイナミクスが測定できる広視野型の紫外吸収分光センサを開発した。OHラジカルの吸収波長帯である310nm近辺に発光強度を有するLEDのビーム直径を数10倍に拡大し、測定高さと時刻を掃引することで世界で初めてOHラジカル密度の3次元ダイナミクスを明らかにした。
