Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2022年度には,車両ネットワーク環境におけるフェデレーテッド・ラーニング(Federated Learning: FL)の品質向上に焦点をあて,項目2(ファジィ論理を用いた事前学習),項目3(学習クライアント選択とモデル集約),項目4(自律分散環境におけるブロックチェーンの導入)の研究開発を行った.項目2,3では,項目1(深層強化学習ベースのFLを用いた情報処理基盤)に基づき,FLの性能を改善するための事前学習手法,車両クライアント評価手法,をそれぞれ提案している.項目4では,自律分散環境におけるFLを可能とする手法を提案している.理論的評価に加えて,車両ネットワークシミュレータ「Veins」(https://veins.car2x.org/)を用いた資源管理の模擬を行い,実際のアプリケーションにおける影響を自動運転シミュレータ「AirSim」(https://microsoft.github.io/AirSim/)で検証した.また,一部の機能を実デバイスに実装し,プロトタイプ開発を行った.

Reason

車両IoTにおけるタスク処理を想定し,フェデレーテッド・ラーニング(Federated Learning: FL)を用いた情報処理基盤の提案・改善を行った.2022年度には,研究項目2,3,4の研究開発を行い,予定通りの研究成果が得られた.特に,研究項目3の提案手法を実現デバイスにおいても実装し,プロトタイプシステムを構築し,評価を行った.よって,研究は予定通り順調に進展していると考える.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

2023年度には,項目間の連携を十分重視し,シミュレーション,実証実験を用いて相乗効果の検証を行う.車両ネットワークシミュレータ「Veins」(https://veins.car2x.org/)を用いた資源管理の模擬を行い,実際のアプリケーションにおける影響を自動運転シミュレータ「AirSim」(https://microsoft.github.io/AirSim/)で検証する.実証実験については,10台の車両と3個の路側装置で実証を行う.車両IoTのための情報処理システムの性能評価指標,評価方法も新たに検討する.実証実験による知見とシミュレーションのスケーラビリティを統合させ,通信・計算・ストレージ資源を総合的に考慮したタスク処理性能の評価手法を検討する.これは車両IoT関連研究を検証するための重要な参考になる
と考える.また,事前学習はフェデレーテッド・ラーニングの品質向上における影響が大きいことから,項目2(ファジィ論理を用いた事前学習)に関してより深く検討する価値があると考える.
