Outline of Annual Research Achievements

1. GDPメタ表面のPT 対称性のモデル化 (担当:分担者 楢原,佐藤,Ryzhii,代表者 尾辻)
・ADGG構造内のGDPメタ表面の損失・利得特性は伝送線路トイモデルによって単純化表現した.具体的には,PT対称な単位要素を電気格子とみなし,線路インダクタンス(プラズモン運動量インダクタンス)をL, 構造・材料依存の容量性を空間変数キャパシタンスC,GDPの損失・利得成分を空間変数コンダクタンスσで与えることにより,PT対称性特有の単方向性伝搬をモデル化した.電気格子をGDP波長に比して十分に短い空間セル分解能とし,系全体を散乱行列で等価回路化することにより,実際のADGG-GFETの複雑系メタ表面構造の特異伝搬を精度を担保しながら簡易に再現できるツールを構築した.次年度以降,GDPの伝搬モード毎に等価回路化した散乱行列を多次元化し,モード間結合を伴う複雑系に対しても合理的な数値解が得られるよう発展させる.
2. ADGG-GFET内GDPの不安定状態におけるミクロスコピックなPT 対称性の解明と,超高速利得変調動作の原理検証 (担当:代表者 尾辻,分担者 吹留,佐藤; 研究協力:松田(東大))
・デバイス試作プロセスは,東北大学電気通信研究所附属ナノ・スピン実験施設設備を利用して実施した.(担当:分担者 佐藤,吹留,代表者 尾辻)
・ 外部電圧を印加した状態でGDPの非平衡ダイナミクスをナノ空間分解能と100フェムト秒の時間分解能で直接観測可能な,研究分担者:吹留,松田らが開発したオペランド時間・空間分解X線光電子分光装置を駆使し,その解明に着手した.(担当:分担者 吹留; 研究協力:松田(東大))

以下の通り,いずれの研究課題においても計画通りに順調に進展している.
1. GDPメタ表面のPT 対称性のモデル化 (担当:分担者 楢原,佐藤,Ryzhii,代表者 尾辻) : 計画通りに順調に進展している.
2. ADGG-GFET内GDPの不安定状態におけるミクロスコピックなPT 対称性の解明と,超高速利得変調動作の原理検証 (担当:代表者 尾辻,分担者 吹留,佐藤; 研究協力:松田(東大)): 計画通りに順調に進展している.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

1. GDPメタ表面のPT 対称性のモデル化 (担当:分担者 楢原,佐藤,Ryzhii,代表者 尾辻)
・GDPの伝搬モード毎に等価回路化した散乱行列を多次元化し,モード間結合を伴う複雑系に対しても合理的な数値解が得られるよう発展させる.
・上記伝送線路モデルと既開発の電磁界解析ツールを用いてADGG-GDP共振特性(モード周波数,Q値)とPT対称性との相関を明らかにし,高速利得変調の見通しを得る.
2. ADGG-GFET内GDPの不安定状態におけるミクロスコピックなPT 対称性の解明と,超高速利得変調動作の原理検証 (担当:代表者 尾辻,分担者 吹留,佐藤; 研究協力:松田(東大))
・ADGG-GFETのPT対称性をゲートおよびドレインバイアスによって電気的に操作し,GDPの利得と共振器端反射係数を高速かつ能動的に変調することによって,レーザ発振の高速
ON/OFF制御が可能であることを実証する.実験には研究代表者所有のTHz時間・周波数領域分光装置を用いる.
