| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究の目的は、ビルマ古典歌謡の伝承手段である口唱歌と口唱歌が伝える音楽構造を記述・分析し、口頭伝承の構造を明らかにすることである。口唱歌とは楽器音を言葉で伝えるもので、世界各地の音楽伝承で見られる伝承手段である。前年度に引き続き口唱歌とそれに対応した音楽の最小単位である「アクウェッ」との関係に焦点を絞ってその記述と分析を進めた。ミャンマーでのフィールド調査を8-9月に4週間実施し、古典歌謡の四大難曲のうちの一曲及び近代歌謡の奏法をマンダレー市のドー・キンメイ氏より口承で学び、同作品のアクウェッと口唱歌の記述を行った。さらに科研課題番号118K01191で行った楽譜の整理に基づき、楽器演奏のバリエーションを抽出する作業を行った。
以上の研究成果に基づき、47th ICTM (International Council for Traditional Music) World Conference（Legon, Ghana, ガーナ大学、2023年7月19日）にて、"What are the Norms? The Range of Variations in the Performance of Myanmar Classical Songs"のタイトルで口頭発表を行った。また、2024年度開催予定のThe 7th Symposium of the ICTMD Study Group on Performing Arts of Southeast Asia(PASEA)(University of the Philipines Visayas,フィリピン、2024年6月20-26日）及びThe 2nd Symposium of the ICTMD Study Group on Indigenous Music and Dance（Chiayi Museum and Chiayi City Concert Hall、台湾、2024年11月22-25日）に口頭発表を申し込みアクセプトされ、両論文執筆を進めた。
