Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本研究は、日本の伝統産業である清酒製造業、とりわけ、地方に本拠地を置く中小清酒製造業者の事業転換を対象とした経営学からのアプローチによる研究である。研究の過程で、現在に至るまでの清酒にまつわる技術革新を中心とするイノベーションの蓄積が業界の特性および企業行動に多大なる影響を及ぼしていることがあきらになった。そこで、経営史的観点から日本における酒造の萌芽期から明治・大正期にいたるまでの清酒製造業にまつわるイノベーションの史的分析を実施した。本研究においては、ジャンルにとらわれることなく清酒製造業のイノベーションに関する諸研究を渉猟してイノベーションの類型化を実施したことに意義がある。
