Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In collaboration with the Budapest Research Center for Natural Sciences, I have received analyzed 3 new iPSC samples coming from Caucasian family having a living schizophrenia individual. The synapse proteomics analysis revealed significant impaired expression of some specific lipid metabolic enzymes compared healthy. I have started a collaboration with RIKEN AIP for building AI/Machine learning tools to interpret and analyze synapse proteomics data from our psychiatric patient cohort.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
I have succeed the analysis of 3 new iPSC samples. The collaboration with RIKEN AIP for building AI/Machine learning tools is on going. I plan a second travel to visit collaborators next month.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
I am planning to receive new schizophrenia samples and start comparing them with bipolar disease.
|
Causes of Carryover |
I could not get all samples on time due to delay in Human sample research committee approval processes. This remaining budget will be used to cover the cell lines fee in 2023.
