| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The major finding is that a change in CAR is a significant risk factor in gastric cancer patients. In addition, a higher
change in CAR is related to postoperative complications and lymph node recurrence. Moreover, CAR also related to other causes of death.
Therefore, a change in CAR is a promising prognostic fac tor for gastric cancer patient.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
NAC症例含む胃癌において治療前後のCARの推移が予後因子の一つとなる可能性が示唆された．一方で，NAC施行胃癌症例のみの検討は症例数が少なく今回検討できなかったため，NAC施行症例における治療前後のCARの推移が有望な炎症栄養バイオマーカーになるか否かは今後の検討課題と考えらえる．
