Outline of Final Research Achievements |
【Objective】To develop an effective educational program for generalist nurses working in outpatient settings.【Methods】A committee consisting of ambulatory nurses and experts will develop educational program materials and conduct a pilot study of a randomized controlled trial . 【Results】Fourteen video materials were created as orientation materials after assignment to the outpatient department. Three chapters were created to facilitate step-by-step learning. An e-learning website was created and a pilot study was conducted with 12 participants in the intervention group and 11 participants in the control group. Although no significant learning effects were observed in the pretest and posttest, the video materials were highly evaluated as a tool for sharing nursing care in the outpatient setting, and the direction for continuing the development of video materials was obtained.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
医療施設の機能分化、平均在院日数の短縮、患者ニーズの多様化に伴い、病院外来は、治療の場としての重要性が高まっている。外来で働く看護師の多くはジェネラリストナースである。外来看護の質の標準化が期待される一方で、外来での看護に焦点を当てたジェネラリストナースのための教育研修体制の構築は、未だ途上である。 時間や場所にとらわれない教育プログラムの開発は、外来看護師の学習機会を拡充し推進すると考える。また、学習効果の学術的検証により、看護実践能力の効果的な向上、外来看護の質の標準化に寄与する可能性を持つ。
