Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study was originally aimed to develop an instrumented prosthesis to measure intraoperative hip joint reaction forces. The prosthesis, that enables to measure the forces during operation has been developed. Intraoperative measurements were performed on two cadavers. Although the prosthesis has not been commercially available, it is useful to be used intraoperatively. This study continues by measuring the hip forces on cadavers.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究において、実際に股関節反力を計測した結果、臨床的に問題となっている術後脱臼に関して分かったことがある。例えば、股関節を屈曲内旋させると関節反力が後方プラス下方へ向くため、脱臼が起こりやすいことが数値にて証明されたことである。もう一つは、伸展プラス外旋させると、関節反力が前方へ向くため、前方脱臼が起こりやすいことが数値にて証明された。関節反力の絶対値も重要ではあるが、力の向きが脱臼の有無を判断するうえでは重要であるといえる。
