We obtain the following overall findings from the research on the relationship between human capital formation and information through spatial economics, focusing on the evaluation cost of human capital and the　spatial　agglomeration　of human capital.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

学術的意義としては、従来同質であるとして分析されてきた人的資本を持つ個人について、人的資本の評価コストの考慮を通じた人的資本の異質性の考慮が、人的資本の地域間移動や集積に与える影響を考察した研究として位置付けられうる。
社会的意義としては、生産性の低い地域に人的資本を持つ人を呼び込むための政策の立案や実施に際し、政策目的の達成のためには中央集権的な意思決定が必要であるということを示した。
