Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Regardless of the large number of transfers from public sectors to other sectors, there is rare evidence on the effect of central administrators, mainly due to the availability of data and potential endogeneity problems. Thus, it is important to provide the causal effect of labor force from public sectors to non-profit organizations and clarify the mechanisms. In this year, I got the solid result of the effect of the transfer of public administrators on local governments. I also presented the result in a seminar and polished the manuscript based on the comments which I received. In the next year (in 2023), it is expected the paper will be out.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
The goal of the second year (in 2022) was to finish the basic empirical analysis. I ran regressions and get the empirical results on the effect of the transfer of central administrators. I also gave presentations and interact with other economists to get feedback.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
The goal of the last year (in 2023) is to finish writing up a paper.
|
Causes of Carryover |
Due to the pandemic, some of the seminars in foreign countries were canceled.
