Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Small drug molecule, esculetin, are very important in adipose tissues, and regulates serum lipid profiles and shows potential anti-atherosclerosis benefits. In this stage, we use the computational design and molecular docking to simulate that the direct interaction between C/EBPβ and esculetin and conducted the research to clarify their reaction in vitro using optical sensor. These findings suggest that esculetin accelerates postprandial lipid circulation by binding to C/EBPβ and augmenting CD36-dependent phagocytosis in ATMs. The work was under review by Advanced Science. Furthermore, another novel designed peptide for TNT explosive was performed.
