Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
We have fabricated a CVD graphene ribbon (GNR) and Zeolite functionalised graphene-based FET gas sensor. The experimental procedure demonstrates the difference in the resistance of graphene in a particular gas environment. The zeolite functionalised GNR FET showed a sensitivity of 100 ppb towards acetone gas molecules. We have identified that zeolite act as a trapping material to enhance the gas-sensing response. The dependence of this charge transfer on the applied tuning voltage was investigated using the gate modulation technique.

Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
We are carrying out different zeolite materials to capture specific gas adsorption and to prevent the adsorption of oxygen and gas molecules. We also trying to implement our gas sensor device in the real-time application.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In the next phase of research work, we have planned to functionalize graphene with different zeolites in order to improve the sensitivity and selectivity of gas sensors. We will also find out a better sensor which will be implemented for the real-time health sensor monitoring.

Causes of Carryover |
経費削減により予定より実験にかかる費用が少なくできたため。2023年度はガスセンサーの感度と選択性を向上させるために、さまざまなゼオライトでグラフェンを機能化することを計画している。
