Outline of Annual Research Achievements

During the last year, I have acquired a few books on experimental auctions and have used them to conduct study sessions for the students that are going to help with this research.
I have also gave instructions to the students about what they are supposed to do in this research project.
I have yet to conduct the experimental auctions as it is planned for this year.

Current Status of Research Progress

3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.

Reason

As I have not received the amount of money, I asked for in the budget proposal, I have not used last year's budget so that I can combine it with this year's. As such, I couldn't get the software needed for data analysis nor the product that I was going to use for the experiment. I am however planning to use a different budget to acquire these items.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

During the coming couple of months, I am going to prepare the questionnaire as well as flyers meant to invite people to participate in the experiment.
The experiment will be conducted during July~August 2022.

Causes of Carryover

I am going to use the grant money to pay the participants in the experimental auctions.
Each participant will receive a 3000 yen participation fee.
Aside from the paying the participants, I also need to buy the products (olive oil bottles) that will be used in the experimental auctions.
