Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to build a support system for nurses aged over 40 years (late-career nurses) to continue building their careers while enhancing their professionalism. First, we conducted interview and questionnaire surveys to clarify the factors that can enhance their professionalism through their experiences of leaving, returning to work, among others. Thereafter, to examine the support system, a qualitative study was conducted with nursing managers at hospitals where many late career nurses were employed and with researchers on careers to clarify the key points in providing adequate and efficient support system for late career nurses.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
