Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Currently, people are forced to refrain from going out due to Covid-19. Many elderly adults are unable to continue exercising, and there is concern that the number of elderly people requiring nursing care may increase in the future. There is an urgent need to prepare assessment and intervention methods that take safety into consideration for elderly adults at high risk of serious illness. Therefore, this study had the following three objectives.(1) To examine the characteristics of well-being elderly who were able to maintain independent living and physical functions even to evade going outside, (2) To develop assessment indicators that can be checked by the elderly themselves, and (3) To attempt the non-contact assessment using mobile terminals.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
