Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
During the first year, this project conducted an review of relevant documents and projects. An online survey was conducted with experts and practitioners on power connectivity in Asia. This has led to the identification and initial analysis of governments' perspectives towards power connectivity and relevant factors affecting their attitutes towards cooperation or non cooperation. The results have been summarized into an academic paper (currently in submission) and presentations at seminars. For this coming year, specific project has been identified for conducting more in depth analysis. For that, network of collaborators has been strenghtened. So far, field visits have not been possible due to travel restrictions. It is expected travelling will be possible in 2nd semester, a field survey will be conducted then
