Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In the second fiscal year, a further analysis of the impacts, both positive and negative, were conducted. Interviews with relevant actors and experts were conducted, both on site and online. Changes in the key drivers for power connectivity in the region were found. Based on these, the survey instruments are being revised for a more proper analysis. Further collaborations in the region were established. This year, progress and results have been presented at seminars, and two accepted publications. In addition, an international seminar was organized.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
The travel restrictitions during the first year, and part of the second, slowed the progress. Furthermore, revised policies in the countries, related to energy transition and post-covid recovery packages, have resulted in additional factors to be considered. The research is being revised accordingly. While this has resulted in some changes, the core of the research question and method are same and it is expected to lead to more relevant results
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In the coming year, surveys and interviews with experts and stakeholders will be conducted. The results will be presented at international conferences and seminars with experts, and will be summarized for submission to academic journals and relevant publications
|
Causes of Carryover |
Travel expense for the accompanying student was paid by other fund (Musha Shugyou-Program). Therefore, a carry forward was caused.
