Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to create an educational method that motivates university students to study on their own. By combining the academic approaches of construction engineering and medical engineering, we developed a hybrid experiential educational material that makes full use of both virtual practice by VR and construction practice simulating a construction site. As a result, it was found that the virtual experience of occupational accidents by the VR construction site simulator deepened safety education at construction sites. In addition, when nailing was compared between VR space and real space, no difference between them could be found in the work efficiency analysis. However, by introducing physiological indicators, trends such as the degree of concentration on work and tension-free work situations could be identified.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
