Outline of Final Research Achievements

This project aimed at developing a new simulation tool to investigate various physical and chemical phenomena. Specifically, we developed a quantum simulator for continuous variables (position, momentum, amplitude, phase, etc.) by extending the conventional quantum simulator for discrete variables such as the number of particles and spins in quantum systems. With this simulator, we have succeeded in simulating the behavior of wave packets in harmonic potentials.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
