Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In the research on the functional food components, there is a demand for the development of rapid analysis methods. This study represents an attempt to rapidly explore active compounds using previously found compounds in food as lead compounds. In this study, we conducted an evaluation of a rapid screening system using inhibition activity of mRNA processing as an indicator. Analysis of analogs of the active compound identified so far confirmed their activity. From these results, the method of searching for active compounds derived from known food components as lead compounds can acquire active compounds much more quickly compared to compound isolation by purification, demonstrating the effectiveness of this approach.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
