| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
研究課題２について，2022年度5月に実施された国際学会，Fondazione Istituto Internazionale di Storia Economica “F. Datini”，53rd Study Week “The knowledge economy. Innovation, productivity and economic growth, 13th to 18th century”にて研究発表を行った。この内容は，Horii S (2023), “Promotion of High-Quality Textiles by Prize Competitions during the Enlightenment in Saxony. From Raw Material to Finished Product Manufacturing”として査読され，論文化された。七年戦争からの復興を目指した産業振興政策のうち，懸賞課題を取り上げた。懸賞課題を通じて授与された受賞金額と賃金の比較による技術導入誘因について検討した。また，受賞者の職業の分析を行い，懸賞課題が新規の職業への起業家精神を促進するものではなく，すでに従事している職業における製品の品質向上を達成してきたことを明らかにした。
研究課題１について，"Dual revolution and Saxon cotton industry fixed geographical distribution, guild regulation, and quality improving spirits"を執筆し，国際学術誌へ投稿中である。こちらについては2023年4月にプレプリントサーバーで発表済みである。18世紀末ザクセン繊維産業の生産における地域集積を定量的に明らかにした。またギルド規制は従来は否定的にみられることが多かったが，むしろ人的基盤の形成には重要な役割を果たした可能性があることを議論した。

Reason
研究はおおむね順調に進展している。ただし，研究課題１について，史料の追加検討や論文の精緻化のために"Dual revolution and Saxon cotton industry fixed geographical distribution, guild regulation, and quality improving spirits"の執筆が2023年度に延長した。論文の執筆自体は2023年4月にプレプリントサーバーで公開しているものの，これから査読等を経なければならないため，査読を経た学術雑誌への掲載はさらに遅くなることが予想される。査読には回っており，数ヶ月以内に査読レポートを受け取る事ができる予定である。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
まずは研究課題１について，"Dual revolution and Saxon cotton industry fixed geographical distribution, guild regulation, and quality improving spirits"の査読結果をまち，その後査読レターに基づいて再度論文の内容の精緻化をはかる。
また，2023年度より科研費 若手研究「18世紀から19世紀前半のザクセン繊維産業における産業振興政策の研究」が採択されている。この若手研究における研究内容は，本研究の延長上にあり，繊維産業における産業振興政策の意義についてさらに検討を進めることができる。
