Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The study's main purpose is to analyze “The Relationship between Communities Engagements and Poverty Reduction “in the context of Nepal. The result of this study provides a road map for Nepal and other least developed countries for poverty alleviation. The results would also benefit policymakers, funding agencies, and future researchers working on related topics. As per the original plan, academic research review and field survey preparation have been completed until the date. Secondary data are collected from local government (Bheri Municipality) officials and the Municipality home page.

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
The Soka University Institutional Review Board for Human Research (IRB) approved the field survey application on April 21, 2022. The researcher prepares a detailed plan for the field survey and conducts the online meeting with Bheri Municipality officials.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
The field survey will conduct between June 1 to July 30, 2022. Preliminary paper writing will complete until September, and I will present the paper at the 41st EBES Conference in October 2022. Publish an article in the reputed journal until March 2023.

Causes of Carryover |
The first-year granted amount could not use according to the original budget plan because of less purchasing of books and journals than planning. This remaining amount will use in field surveys and journal publishing.
