Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Studies 1 and 2: The Japanese version of the CDR plus NACC FTLD was developed. The reliability, validity, and responsiveness of the Japanese version of the CDR plus NACC FTLD were assessed in 29 patients with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and 21 patients with Alzheimer's dementia (AD), and good reliability, validity, and responsiveness were confirmed (Taomoto D, et al. 2023). Study 3: The Clutter Image Rating (CIR), a rating scale for hoarding symptoms, was also assessed; the CIR for FTD and AD was 1.78 (0.99) (mean (SD)) and 1.63 (0.86), both below the cut-off of 4, with no significant differences between the two groups. A possible reason for this is that this study included patients with a caregiver or who were hospitalised.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
