| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
令和5年度に実施した研究は、以下の通りである。１）菱刈金鉱床で地質調査を行い、輝安鉱および石英脈などの鉱石を採取、流体包有物観察のための両面研磨薄片の作成と近赤外顕微鏡観、研究代表者のカナダ・ウエスタン大学への訪問と同大学の共同研究者の協力による流体包有物ガス組成の分析を行った。２）インドネシア・Tujuh Bukit銅-金鉱床で地質調査を行い、鉱石試料を採取、顕微鏡観察、流体包有物マイクロサーモメトリーおよびガス組成分析、硫黄同位体分析を行った。３）北海道北部・雄武町の北隆鉱床周辺の探鉱試錐に着脈した石英脈中の脈石鉱物および鉱石鉱物を対象に顕微鏡観察、SEM-EDS/CL分析、EPMA分析、LA-ICP-MS分析、流体包有物分析を行った。４）フィリピン・Mankayan地域のChristine鉱体、および、Cordon地域の鉱徴地を対象に熱水変質岩と鉱脈のサンプルを採取し、顕微鏡観察、全岩化学分析、各種鉱物のEPMA分析、流体包有物マイクロサーモメトリー分析、硫黄同位体分析を行った。５）南アフリカ・Murchison緑色岩帯のアンチモン-金鉱床を対象に地質調査を行い、特に炭酸塩鉱物の顕微鏡観察と化学組成分析を行った。６）この他に関連する研究として、ナミビア北西部の複数のCu-Ag鉱徴地、ボツワナの緑色岩帯中に胚胎する複数の金鉱床、タイの複数の錫-タングステン鉱床、インドネシアの複数の錫、銅、金鉱床/鉱徴地、秋田県の複数の黒鉱鉱床等を対象とする地質調査の実施とサンプル採取、各種室内実験と解析を行った。これらの研究対象の大部分は探鉱または開発プロジェクトが行われている鉱床、鉱徴地であり、新規鉱体の探査や探鉱に有用な情報を提供するために、室内実験データに基づきそれぞれの鉱床/鉱徴地の形成条件とメカニズムの解析を行った。

Reason
当初予定していた11地域の研究対象の大部分に着手済みであり、それ以外にも複数の熱水鉱床を研究対象に加えた研究を進めている。また、研究代表者がカナダ・ウエスタン大学を訪問し、同大学の共同研究者の協力により流体包有物のガス組成分析を行い、データを解析した。世界的に在庫ゼロとなっていたネオンガスを主成分とする分析ガスを入手し、LA-ICP-MS装置の実験への活用を開始したほか、各種室内実験と解析をスムーズに行った。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
複数の熱水鉱床および鉱徴地の鉱物組み合わせや化学組成などの基礎的な実験データが得られたので、現在までの研究成果を学会発表、論文投稿等で成果公開し、流体包有物のマイクロサーモメトリーとガス組成分析や安定同位体分析などの応用的な室内実験を引き続き継続するとともに、それぞれの鉱床の形成条件とメカニズムの解析を行う。また、再訪問を含めて研究対象地域を対象に地質調査を実施する。

| Causes of Carryover |
共同研究者や海外カウンターパートとの相談で、次年度に新たに研究対象の鉱床を増やすためおよび再訪問による地質調査、海外共同研究者の依頼出張としての支出を計画し、次年度使用額を残した。次年度、これらの残額を地質調査等の出張、室内実験、データ解析、研究成果公開などに使用する。
