Research Abstract

最終年度は, 新奇内包(@)C60, CNTのナノバイオ・メディカル応用に関わる有用な物性とデバイス特性の解明に特に焦点を当て, 以下に要約される成果を得た.
1.スピン活用N@C60の高効率合成達成と新規物性発現:ダブルプラズマ装置を用いて,窒素分子イオンエネルギーの内包最適値が約80 eVであることを見出し, そのときの合成純度を更に改善し, 世界最高値の0.83 % を実現した. これにより, 重要な物性である紫外可視光吸収特性を測定することが可能となり, スペクトル上に空のC60では現れない330 nmと345 nmにN@C60特有の新しい吸収ピークが出現し, それらの強度がN@C60の純度の増加とともに増大することが観測された.
2.pn接合内蔵CNTの光電変換特性: 準ペアプラズマ等で創製された, アルカリ金属原子の部分内包単層ナノチューブ(SWNT)や電子ドナー・アクセプタの原子分子列内包SWNT(pn接合構造自己保有のSWNT)1本が, 赤外領域の高効率光電変換素子機能を発揮し, 波長1550 nmと1650 nmの光入射に対して各々変換効率3.9 %と11.4 5 %を達成した.
3.Auナノ粒子-DNA複合物質内包CNTの創製とナノバイオ特性:イオン液体を含む気液界面プラズマ法で合成された可溶性Auナノ粒子-DNA複合物質の紫外可視光吸収特性を調べた結果, DNAの塩基と濃度によってDNA表面上の金ナノ粒子の粒径と粒子間距離を制御できることが判明した. ここで, パルスDC放電プラズマ中のSWNTを塗布した電極に直流正電位を印加すると, “Auナノ粒子-DNA複合物質@SWNT”が初めて創製された. 更に, 光操作等により内包物をSWNT外部に引き出す徐放法の開発も行い, 生体内薬剤送達系DDSの模擬基礎実験に漕ぎ着けた.
