Research Abstract |
Molecular mechanisms of regulations for sodium ion and osmoprotect glycinebetaine were studied using a halotolerant cyanobacterium from Dead Sea. F-type Na+-ATPase, sunscreen molecules were identified. Importance of PhoD alkaline phosphatase, amino acid transporters and precursers of glycine were examined.
