Research Abstract |
In this Study, We visited United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, and other countries to research about Plea Bargaining. Plea Bargaining or similar practices exist in almost all jurisdictions. The purposes of these practices are to avoid burden of procedures. But in Japan, systems of immunity and agreement between prosecutor and defendant are likely to introduce to gain more statements from accused person. That is a characteristic of Japanese system.
