近傍銀河の遠赤外線高精度画像データを用いた銀河の宿命の総合理解

| Research Abstract |
「あかり」中間・遠赤外線全天サーベイデータの最新版を用いて、近傍銀河（視野角が10分角以上の大きさのもの）約100個の画像を作成し、データベースを作成した。波長は、9、18、65、90、140、160ミクロンの計6バンドである。とくに、M82やNGC253といった有名な銀河で、「あかり」指向観測データが存在するものに関しては、サーベイ・指向データを結合させてS/Nを向上させるための処理手法を開発した。また、点源像をkernelとして、銀河に付随する広がった赤外線放射をdeconvolutionする方法を開発し、データに適用した。Deconvolution後に、共通のGaussian kernelでconvolutionすることで解像度を揃え、銀河を空間分解して、領域ごとにSpectral Energy Distribution（SED）を求めた。SEDを標準のダストモデルでフィッティングすることで、各種ダスト成分の空間分布を求め、銀河の星間環境を議論した。
また、これらの近傍銀河に対して、「あかり」近赤外線スペクトルデータを解析した。とくに炭化水素ダストや水・二酸化炭素氷ダストのスペクトルバンドを詳細に調べ、それらの化学状態に関する情報、および、銀河内の空間依存性を議論した。その結果、銀河の星形成活動性とダストの変成に関連性があることを発見した。近赤外線スペクトルデータについても、系統的なデータベースを構築した。
以上の得られた成果は、査読付き論文や、台湾で行われたダストの国際研究会、国内の研究会・学会などで報告した。
