Research Abstract |
We studied various quantum phases potentially realizable in cold atoms in optical lattices to clarify their feasibility and basic properties. For example, we investigated super-solid state, in which the lattice translation and gauge symmetries are both broken at the same time, we obtained the conditions of their occurance.
