Research Abstract |
The β chain, a signaling molecule for the high-affinity IgE receptor (FcεRI), is involved in FcεRI-induced mast cell activation. In the present study, we investigated employing human and/or murine mast cells how the β chain regulates FcεRI signaling and mast cell activation. Here, we demonstrated that, upon weak Fc ε RI ligation, β chain amplifies human mast cell activation by increasing positive function of Lyn.
