Research Abstract |
In this study to examine the relationship between aging and behavioral changes, we used senescence-accelerated mouse (SAM) strain, behavioral tests including motor activity, memory, and alcohol preference tests, and QTL analyses. We have found chromosomal regions involved in age-dependent phenotype changes in the behavioral test. We are trying to identify the causative gene(s) using the database and other mutant strains.
