| Research Abstract |
This study was conducted for the sake of making some facts clear, that were activities which had done during from the Taisho period to the Showa period before war broke by Kaneji Yajima, a physical education teacher.After leaving from Gunma prefecture, he stopped actual activities regarding to gymnastics and took an administrator. Though, based on the experience which obtained from that activities, he archived a lot of success in the educational field. He also insisted the importance of educational concern and sportsmanship against newborn sports on the rise in Japan in the Showa period. Even under the control of war structure, his way ofthought has never changed.
