Research Abstract |
In the development of metabolic syndrome, lipid metabolism plays a key role. Especially we demonstrated an important role of ceramide. Nobiletin found in Citrus depressaof the citrus caused favorable effect on lipid metabolism to prevent metabolic syndrome in rats. In future it is important to find such food factors, which affect lipid metabolism.
