Research Abstract

This study focuses on a relations among members in a network(e.g., individuals in social network, airports in airline network, or, connection nodes in the Internet). Some indices which measure a certain type of importance or benefit of each member in the network have been proposed. Moreover, we discuss how networks are formed if each individual seeks to maximize his benefit.
