Research Abstract |
Only a few attempts have so far been made at examining the necessity of legal control on living donor transplantation in Japan. In order to establish the appropriate criminal regulation on living donor organ transplantation, we need to make the requirements for justification clear. It is reasonable to legislate a comprehensive act of both living and dead donor transplantation using administrative guidelines jointly as a means to regulating. Comparative studies of foreign legislations support this proposal.
