Research Abstract |
Post-2000, a series of high profile corporate scandals promptedpolicy makers around the world into a systematic re-evaluation of strategies for dealingwith corporate wrongdoing. This project examined three aspects of this reform process, namely (1) The expansion of corporate criminal liability; (2) The increased use of pre-trial diversion in cases involving corporate crime, (3) the emergence of transnational networks as a crucial mechanism for improving corporate ethics and behavior.
