Research Abstract |
The Japanese life insurance industry’s ethical environment has experienced improvement since 2000, then some of serious ethical problems related to life insurance service professionals have been relieved. However, Japanese life insurance market is rapidly changing to competitive and comprehensive market, like US one, and life insurance sales professionals have to cope with new complicated ethical issues. To improve life sales professionals’ ethical understanding, education is more helpful than severe regulation.
