| Research Abstract |
(1)非線形楕円型境界値問題の解の多重性と定義域の関係の解明:非線形楕円型境界値問題において方程式の定義域の位相的、幾何学的特徴が微分方程式の解の多重性に与える影響を明らかにすることを目指して、critical Sobolev exponentのgrowthをもつ非線形項を持つSchrodinger方程式について解析を進め、解の多重性を示すことができた。
(2)テキサス大学のKrachwitz氏およびニコラスコペルニクス大学のSlawomir Rybciki氏と共同研究を行い、Equivariant degree theoryを用いて、超電導を記述するGinzburg-Landau方程式の解の多重性及び、球対称解からの分岐解が存在することを示すことに成功した。
(3)2階のハミルトニアンシステムの解の多重性とカオスの研究:振り子の運動や,Duffing方程式などを変分法によって解析する方法が開発された.本研究では,この方法を発展させ,Lotoka-Volterraの方程式について,heteroclilnic solution及び,homoclinic solutionの多重性を示ことに成功した。

結果がおおむね順調に得られているので、非線形楕円型境界値問題において、以前取り組んだHardy項を持つ方程式の解の多重性の証明にもちょうせんする。
