Research Abstract |
A CFD based highly accurate wind speed prediction method is developed for the purpose of avoiding power grid voltage fluctuation. Based on this prediction grid voltage can be securely controlled by a newly developed optimal control method based on direct numerical integration of Euler’s equation in the field of calculus of variations. Numerical simulation is done using real field data to show the validity of these methods.
