Research Abstract |
It is important to propose the evalutation technique of influence which a human body receives due to variety bridge vibration. In this study, the experiment to measure physiological information of pedestrian bridges user was performed in order to propose evaluation technique of serviceability of pedestrian bridges. In the experiment, the vibration of both pedestrian bridges and user were measured simultaneously, the relation of both vibration characteristic and the biological pulse wave have been investigated. As the result, it is found that the user's displeasure also becomes larger as displacement amplitude of pedestrian bridges becomes large, and the biological pulse wave of user changes a lot when user's walking pace is in agreement with natural frequencies of pedestrian bridges.
