Research Abstract |
We performed QTL analysis for disease resistant trait against Vibrio anguillarum (PH-0301) in Ayu (Plecoglossus altivelis) using microsatellite DNA markers. We identified the locus associated with the disease resistant trait on linkage group (LG) 18 in this species (LOD score:3.12, p < 0.001). On LG18, a microsatellite marker explained 14 % of the total phenotypic variation in the 94 individuals screened.
