Research Abstract |
Regenerative lung growth was induced by left pneumonectomy in GFP-positive bone marrow-transplanted chimeric mice. GFP-positive cells were observed 2.1-fold more frequently in the lungs of pneumonectomized mice vs. sham operated mice by immunohistochemistry (P=0.001).
