| Research Abstract |
Isoflurane-induced postconditioning and the reduced myocardialinfarct size induced by the short-term (3days) simvastatin administration are blocked by hyperglycemia. However, short-term simvastatin administration facilitates and restores isoflurane-induced postconditioning during hyperglycemia.
